Privacy Policy

1. The Blockchain & Immutability

Meridian operates on a public blockchain (Base Sepolia). Please be aware that any data minted to the blockchain is public, permanent, and immutable.

Once a Provenance Record is created, it cannot be deleted or altered by Meridian Labs. We strongly advise Curators not to embed Personally Identifiable Information (PII) within the immutable metadata of an artifact.

2. Data We Collect

• Off-Chain Data: Email addresses and profile information provided during Curator registration.
• On-Chain Data: Wallet addresses (Public Keys) and Artifact Metadata (Images, Descriptions).
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics on scan locations to prevent counterfeiting rings.

3. Your Rights

For off-chain data stored on our centralized servers, you have the right to request access, correction, or deletion in accordance with GDPR. However, we cannot "delete" data that has been committed to the blockchain ledger.
